Tatsuro Ichihara

Graduating from Kyoto University, Faculty of Engineering, in 1967, Mr. Ichihara joined Tateishi Electronics Co. (Later named as OMRON) in April 1967. During his time with OMRON, he had occupied executive roles in R&D until he became Director and Executive Vice President in 2002.  He retired in 2009 and took a position of a Director of Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster of Advanced Scientific Technology & Management Research Institute of KYOTO. In 2013, he became a president of the Institute of Neo Materials Biology Research Association. He has also been a board member of Center of Entrepreneurship Development (CED) since 2006 and played a key role of CED fund raising, and been actively involved in many of the activities for youth entrepreneurship development.
