An Indonesian national, Dede has been living and working in Japan for a total of over 16 years. He has been working in the financial industry as a research analyst and a fund manager for the Japanese equity market. His research has been focused on small and start up Japanese companies, from which he learned about the importance of entrepreneurship training and education among young people.
Besides being the auditor for the Center for Entrepreneurship Development, a Kyoto-based NPO, Dede has been organizing a scholarship program for economically disadvantaged students in Indonesia. Currently Dede is taking a break from work to finish his master degree at the United Nations University Institute of Sustainability and Peace (UNU-ISP) in Tokyo.
Qualifications: Civil engineering, MBA, and MSc (in Sustainability, Development and Peace).
