About Kyoto Municipal Murasakino Senior High School

Murasakino High School was one of the first schools in Kyoto to pioneer the two-term school-year system. The two-term system enables us to have a more flexible curriculum, with more selective courses. The school is also rare in that it is very active in participating in numerous projects and exchange programs with several schools overseas, including our sister school in Australia.

At Murasakino we aim to cultivate creative, healthy, well-balanced individuals who display intelligence and good morals. The school’s staff is dedicated and hard working. They devote themselves to providing the students with a quality education and guidance. It is the goal of every staff member to prepare the students to succeed in their future education and establish rewarding careers.

GEC Background

We, “Team Murasakino” are the first group that has joined the GEC from Murasakino High School. However, we have prepared for the GEC competition hard at the computer room in our school every day during spring vacation with our teachers‘ support.

I absolutely love these products and ideas. I feel less stressed just thinking about Komorebi. Thank you Kyoto!
